When Nancy Chambless was visiting a woman in prison in
Montgomery, Alabama, the woman broke into tears, saying,
"I'll never see my baby crawl." This moved Nancy
Chambless to take action, helping to organize a state-wide
program designed to bring children to visit their mothers
in prison.
